Snell and McIntyre Star in Last Men's Basketball Conference Game on Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night

In their final regular season conference game the Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team defeated Gaston College 89-66 tonight at home. After being down 8-5 the Dolphins scored 16 straight points before taking a 52-26 halftime lead. The run in the first half was led by Jahnarious Snell who came off the bench to score 26 first half points which included seven three point baskets. The leading scorers for BCC were Snell with 28 points followed by Trent McIntyre with 19 and Landon King with 13. In the game McIntyre recorded only the second triple double in school history with 19 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists. The win completed the season sweep of the Rhinos and locked the Dolphins in as second place in the Region 10-D1 regular season standings. The Dolphins will be the number two seed for the Region 10-D1 Atlantic District Tournament which starts on March 9th at Cape Fear CC at 4 pm versus Denmark Technical College. The Dolphins will play their last regular season non conference game on Saturday and celebrate sophomore day against Shooting For Greatness Prep at 3:00 pm.
