The Brunswick Community College men's basketball team opened play at the Wake Tech Classic on Friday with a 100–86 victory over the County College of Morris from Randolph, N.J. In a competitive first half, the Dolphins trailed 43–41 at intermission before turning up the intensity after the break. Behind a deep rotation and aggressive defensive pressure, Brunswick pulled away in the second half to claim the win. Linwood Rowe led the Dolphins with 16 points, while Alius Bowser added 13. Jordan Barr contributed 12 points, and Blake Bartney finished with 11 as Brunswick's balanced attack proved too much for the Titans to handle.
