In the opening day of the East Georgia State Classic in Swainsboro, GA, the Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team (7–1) earned an 82–77 victory over the South Georgia Technical College Jets (Americus, GA). The Dolphins came out strong, building a 50–36 halftime lead with contributions from across the roster. South Georgia Tech surged back in the second half, even briefly taking the lead midway through the period. However a series of clutch plays down the stretch allowed the Dolphins to regain control and secure the win. Jordan Durham led the way with 19 points, followed by Viktor Alao with 15 and Linwood Rowe with 12. The Dolphins return to action on Sunday to face the host East Georgia State College at 3 p.m
