In a high scoring contest against the highest scoring team in the country, the Brunswick CC Men's Basketball team lost on Sunday 126-117 to USC-Salkehatchie in Walterboro, SC. In an up and down affair the host team led at the half 54-45. The Dolphins played them even in the second half and had a few chances in the closing minutes to make it a one possession game. However Salkehatchie capitalized on the Dolphins miscues to determine the final score. The leading scorers for the Dolphins were Amari Latham with a career high 34 points followed by Alius Bowser with 23 and Darius Kane with 20. The 14-3 Dolphins will next play at home against Gaston College on Saturday at 3 PM.
