Dolphins Protect the House and Take Over First Place with 104-98 Win Versus USC-Salk

In a showdown between the two highest-scoring teams in Region 10 Division 1 the #23 ranked Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team took down the nation's highest scoring offense, USC-Salkehatchie, with a thrilling 104–98 win at home. Brunswick controlled the game from the opening tip, slowing the high-powered visitors from Walterboro, SC who entered averaging 114 points per game and storming into halftime with a 56–43 lead. The Dolphins stretched the advantage to as many as 18 points in the second half before standing tall and fending off a furious late run to seal the victory. The win not only avenged the Dolphins' lone conference loss from earlier this season, but also launched Brunswick CC into first place in the Region 10 Division 1 standings. The leading scorers for the Dolphins were Amari Latham with 27 points, followed by Viktor Alao with 14 points, Zion Gardner with 13, Linwood Rowe with 11, and Blake Bartney with 10.
