Sophomore Day Celebration! Dolphins Dominate Denmark Tech 132–80
It was a day of celebration, appreciation, and pure dominance as the Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball capped off the regular season with a commanding 132–80 victory over Denmark Technical College on Sophomore Day. True to the "strength in numbers" identity that has defined their season, the Dolphins (25–5) put together a spectacular team performance. Thirteen players got into the scoring column and eight Dolphins finished in double figures, showcasing the depth that has made Brunswick one of the most dangerous teams in the region. Leading the way was Amari Latham, who exploded for 27 points to pace the Dolphins high-powered offense. Tre Herbert and Caiden Brewer each added 15 points, while Jordan Durham and Alius "Junior" Bowser contributed 13 points apiece. Prashant Hill finished with 12 points, Blake Bartney added 11 and Ty Outlaw rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10 points. The afternoon also served as a special moment for the program as the sophomore class was honored at halftime for their leadership and contributions to the Dolphins continued success. The win also secured another remarkable milestone for Brunswick. The Dolphins completed their second straight undefeated season at home pushing their incredible home winning streak to 32 games and continuing to make their home court one of the toughest environments in the region. Now the focus shifts to the postseason. The Dolphins will travel to Petersburg, Virginia for the Region 10-D1 Atlantic District Tournament which begins Thursday at Richard Bland College. Brunswick enters the tournament as the #2 seed and is set to tip off at 3:30 PM against Cape Fear CC. With momentum, depth, and confidence on their side, the Dolphins are ready to keep the celebration going as they chase the opportunity to repeat as Region 10-D1 Atlantic District Champions
