Dolphins Dominate Cape Fear CC in Region 10 Tournament Opener!

The #2 seeded Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball Team (26-5) opened play in the Region 10–D1 / Atlantic District Championship Tournament in impressive fashion Thursday afternoon defeating #7 seed Cape Fear CC 109–69. Brunswick relied on its trademark strength in numbers approach to take control early, building a commanding 54–29 lead by halftime. The Dolphins continued their strong play in the second half, outscoring the Sea Devils 55–40 to secure the convincing opening round victory. Jamie Brooks led the Dolphins with 18 points, while Blake Bartney added 14 and Jordan Durham contributed 13. Zion Gardner and Prashant Hill each finished with 11 points and Linwood Rowe added 10 as Brunswick once again showcased its balanced offensive attack. With the win, the Dolphins advance to the Region 10-D1 Semifinals where they will face #3 seed USC–Salkehatchie on Friday at 4:30 PM.
