Women's Basketball Splits Two Weekend Home Games

The Brunswick Community College Lady Dolphins played two home games over the weekend. On Saturday, they faced the defending Region 10 champions, Bryant and Stratton College (VA). The Lady Dolphins stayed competitive in the first quarter, trailing just 21-18. However, the Bobcats increased the pressure in the second quarter and pulled away, ultimately winning 83-43.  Amaya Glenn led the Lady Dolphins with 11 points.

On Sunday, the Lady Dolphins took a break from Region play to host the UNCW Club Team. After Saturday's tough loss, they bounced back to secure a 64-48 victory. Leading the charge in the win were Shuntay Douglas with 21 points, Amaya Glenn with 12, and Princess Canady with 10. With a 2-2 record, the Lady Dolphins will return to action this Sunday for an important Region 10 matchup versus Fayetteville Technical Community College as part of the BCC Pre-Thanksgiving Classic.
