Lady Dolphins Open Season with 64-58 Road Win at Denmark Tech

The Brunswick Community College Lady Dolphins Basketball team kicked off their season with a hard fought 64-58 out of conference victory on the road today at Denmark Technical College in Denmark, S.C. After a tightly contested first half ended in a 29-29 tie, the Lady Dolphins surged ahead in the third quarter to take a 49-46 lead. The host Panthers battled back to grab a three point advantage with six minutes remaining, but Brunswick responded with poise making key plays down the stretch to secure the win. Faith Farmer led the Lady Dolphins with 18 points, followed closely by Jazmine Burns with 15. Brunswick will look to carry the momentum into their Region 10 opener at home on Wednesday when they host Wake Technical Community College at 7 p.m.
