On Wednesday, the Brunswick Community College Lady Dolphins Basketball team traveled to Louisburg College for a Region matchup, falling 87–58. In the fifth game of their seven-game road stretch, the host Hurricanes jumped out early, taking a 26–11 lead after the first quarter. Louisburg continued its momentum in the second, outscoring the Lady Dolphins 20–15. Brunswick came out of halftime with renewed energy, battling to an even 19–19 third quarter. However, in the final period, Louisburg regained control and outpaced the Lady Dolphins 22–13 to close out the game and seal the final margin. The Lady Dolphins were led in scoring by Princess Canady with 13 points and Elayzia Dawson with 9.
