The Brunswick Community College Lady Dolphins Basketball team delivered an exciting, high energy battle Friday night as they hosted the Yetis of Cleveland Community College. The action was intense from the start, with both teams trading baskets en route to a 13-13 tie at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter continued at a fast pace, featuring big shots and tough defense on both ends. Cleveland CC managed to take a narrow 30-25 lead into halftime. The visitors used a strong third quarter to create separation, outscoring the Lady Dolphins 18-9. The Lady Dolphins stormed back in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Yetis 18-11 and making it a game down the stretch however it wasn't enough as final score was ended up being 59-52. #4 Chelsea Rivera led the charge with 16 points, while Shamayra Monk added 15 and Faith Farmer chipped in 13 in a gritty team effort.
