Lady Dolphins Roll Versus Southwest VA 74-46
In their most complete performance of the season, the Brunswick Community College Lady Dolphins Basketball team put on a show, overwhelming Southwest Virginia Community College 74–46 in a home victory today. From the opening tip, the Lady Dolphins were locked in. Their suffocating pressure defense fueled a blazing 10–0 start, setting the tone for a game they would control from start to finish. Every time Southwest Virginia tried to cut into the lead, Brunswick answered with another burst of energy turning defense into offense and pushing the pace with confidence and intensity. It was the definition of a total team takeover. Twelve Lady Dolphins etched their names into the scoring column, showcasing the program's depth and unselfish play. Faith Farmer led the charge with a 20 point performance, Jazmine Burns added 13, and Chelsea Rivera chipped in 10 as Brunswick's balanced attack proved too much to handle.
The excitement continues Sunday at 4 pm as the Lady Dolphins host Guilford Technical Community College in the final regular-season home game. It will be a special afternoon as the Sophomore Class is honored. If today was any indication, the Lady Dolphins are building serious momentum at just the right time.
