Survive and Advance, Upset City! #7 Lady Dolphins Defeat #2 Louisburg 78-76 in Region Tournament

The #7 seeded Brunswick Community College Lady Dolphins Basketball team used a big fouth quarter and held off a furious comeback attempt to defeat the #2 seeded Louisburg College Lady Hurricanes 78-76 and move to the semifinals of the NJCAA Region 10-D2 Tournament today in Hickory on the campus of Catawba Valley Community College. Faith Farmer led all scorers with 31 points followed by Chelsea Rivera with 25. The Lady Dolphins will play against # 3 seeded Cleveland CC tomorrow at 6 pm in the Semifinals.
